Sick of spending money on Pumpkin Spice Lattes, I finally created my own PSL recipe that is both dairy free, gluten free, & actually tastes like delicious pumpkin spice. Check out this simple recipe for yourself - it makes about 2 lattes!
Ingredients
3 tbsp pumpkin puree
2 tbsp maple syrup
dash of ground cinnamon - passion
pinch of ground nutmeg - prosperity
sprinkle of ground allspice - abundance
smidge of ground clove - banishing
tittle of fine sea salt - cleansing
oat milk, or any other dairy alternative/regular milk
espresso or coffee
optional: garnish with a cinnamon stick or star anise
In my opinion, the perfect cup is about 12 ounces total! If you like it on the sweeter side, maybe go for 8-10 fl. oz....or, if you want the flavor a bit more subtle fill it to 14-16 fl. oz..
The Process
in a mason jar, add the pumpkin puree & maple syrup
stir the two together with a spoon
sprinkle in all of your seasonings: cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, sea salt
stir all of your ingredients together with a spoon
add your desired amount of oat milk into the mason jar, somewhere between 2-4 oz. if you're using coffee or 6-10 oz. if you're using espresso
froth everything together - make sure you have enough room, so it doesn't overflow
add in your coffee or espresso - I like to froth everything together again with the coffee added
I'm a star anise girl, but feel free to garnish with a cinnamon stick or nothing at all!
Enjoy & Happy Autumn y'all! May you release what no longer serves you, & move forward with grace & beauty.
